Infocomm technology can play an important role in helping the elderly continue to contribute meaningfully to society, stay actively connected with their family and the community, and not be left behind in our digital society.

In Singapore's fast-greying society, infocomm technology can play an important role in helping the elderly continue to contribute meaningfully to society, stay actively connected with their family and the community, and not be left behind in our digital society. Customised infocomm training programmes will be conducted for the elderly, by the elderly, to promote greater infocomm awareness among senior citizens who are less tech-savvy.


  • Silver Infocomm Curriculum

    IMDA developed a set of customised curriculum to increase infocomm literacy among seniors. There are two tracks, iBEGIN and iLIVE, for seniors to learn basic infocomm and digital lifestyle skills respectively.Read more
  • Silver Infocomm Junctions

    The Silver Infocomm Junctions are senior-friendly infocomm learning hubs that offer affordable infocomm training and customised curriculum to seniors.Read more
  • Intergen IT Bootcamp

    Seniors, aged 50 years old and above, have a chance to go back to school and interact with their grandchildren or students from the neighbouring schools to learn basic infocomm skills. Read more
  • Friends of Silver Infocomm Volunteer Programme

    Sign up as Friends of Silver Infocomm (FSI) to help bridge the digital divide among seniors (aged 50 years and above); so that seniors can be empowered to live a digital lifestyle for greater convenience and to connect to the community.Read more
