IMDA works with both the business and research communities to continually push the frontiers of new technology, drive digital transformation and enable breakthrough innovations in Singapore’s digital economy.

Focusing on supporting 3 key emerging technology domains – AI, Communications and Connectivity, and Trust, we:

  • Help to build and enhance capabilities in these domains via research and translation
  • Create and curate economic uplift programmes designed for industry
  • Work with technology providers and end users to build a community of collective enablement
  • Develop and prototype tech products and toolkits for industry

IMDA, together with Microsoft and Green Software Foundation has recently launched a set of digital sustainability guidelines (5.35MB) that will advance Singapore’s position as a leading innovation and sustainability hub in Southeast Asia.
