Jean Yeo | Director

Jean is the creator for English drama series Lion Mums on MediaCorp Channel 5 and Toggle. Jean studied English Language and Literature at the National University of Singapore and pursued her dreams of working in the media industry and was selected by the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (now MediaCorp) to be a TV-writer.  Jean went on to graduate with honours degree and went on to be a Producer-Director. Over her six years with the station, she executed roles ranging from writing, directing to executive producing.

In 2000, Jean spearheaded Ochre Pictures, an independent production company focusing on quality television content. Some of Jean’s directorial accolades include Cooking Without Clothes (2010), The Leap Years (2008), There Was A Time and Lion Mums, created by Jean. As an active member of the media community, Jean was the Founding Vice President for AIPRO.
