Bert Tan | Producer

Spirit of Enterprise Award Winner Bert Tan is a successful entrepreneur whose career began as a grip and gaffer, and is now the Chairman and co-founder of BeVRR Media & Entertainment, one of Southeast Asia’s Media & Entertainment companies in the business of Equipment Rental, Production of Feature Films and TV, Post-Production and Immersive Technology.

He mentors students and aspiring filmmakers, and regularly hosts trainings for industry practitioners. He has also taken on the role as an industry partner with various institutions such as ITE and Singapore Polytechnic.

Executive Producer for 14 feature films across Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam, Bert has played an active role in promoting co-productions across the region, four of which were screened at prominent and prestigious film festivals, including: Wonder Boy (Asian International Film Festival), Zombiepura (Asian International Film Festival), Buffalo Boys (Singapore's submission to the 91st Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film), Ramen Teh (Berlin International Film Festival and Sans Sebastian International Film Festival).
