Karen is the producer of the acclaimed feature 7 Letters, the omnibus that engaged 7 Singaporean established filmmakers to create a personal and poignant connection for Singapore’s silver jubilee. Karen’s full-bodied line of works includes feature and short films, commercials, documentaries and music videos. She is currently an Executive Producer in Chuan Pictures, a company founded by local acclaimed filmmaker Royston Tan.

Karen’s transition into producing was a natural progression for her after working as an Art Director and Wardrobe Stylist for over a decade in the Singapore film industry. She started out as a Production Assistant for Water Films for 2 years (1996-1998) and then headed the Art Department in Two Oceans Film Company (1998-2000) before venturing out on her own as a freelance Art Director and Wardrobe Stylist (2001-2010). She has been in the industry for over 20 years.
