How do users interact with your digital product, and what experience do they get when completing certain tasks? How do we design products for better usability or even more sales conversions?

Usability testing is a necessary and important phase in the UI/UX process. Organising usability testing interviews can help to gather quantitative and qualitative feedback on effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction when completing certain tasks on your product, site, app, etc. Discovering and addressing these usability issues early will result in better user experiences, and studies have shown how these lead to higher sales conversions.
 
Participants will get to learn about the benefits of usability testing through case studies, how they can structure the research process, conducting interviews, sourcing for interview participants, developing interview questions, etc. Participants will also have some hands-on time to try out eye-tracking hardware and software, and be introduced to commonly used eye tracking metrics such as fixation sequences, gaze points and heat maps.
