Part of a core team currently involved in UI/UX projects? This masterclass aims to help companies develop B2B customer-centric products, through an applied understanding of key UI/UX principles such as: user empathy, wireframing and prototyping techniques + tools, and information architecture.
Developing ideas to accelerate digital transformation can be plagued with uncertainties and risks. UI/UX design is a necessary differentiator for your offerings, and research has showed that B2B customers, similar to B2C customers, demand for a seamless and user-friendly digital interface offered by their service providers.
A positive and effective user experience is crucial to the success of a business. This interactive, applied masterclass teaches participants key UI/UX principles in the design process. In this one-day course, participants will learn the importance of understanding the needs of your customer before learning more about prototyping for digital experience and how to use it, in an experiential hands-on manner. Working in a group, participants will apply the learning on the spot to create low- and medium-fidelity prototypes of a digital solution to address a design challenge. Participants will also be introduced to digital prototyping tools.
9:45am – 10:00am Registration
10:00am – 10:10am Opening Introduction to PIXEL
10:10am – 11:00am Introduction to principles of UI/UX

11:00am – 12:30pm Prototyping Workflow
Participants will learn how to build a great digital experience for users by learning about the key stages of a good user experience. They will then work in small teams to design a workflow of a user experience that they will like to improve.
12:30pm – 1:30pm Lunch Break
1:30pm – 3.30pm Creating digital prototypes
Participants will learn some basic wire framing tools to create a digital prototype.
- How to create a clickable wire frame?
- What are the UI essentials?
3:30pm – 4:00pm Tea Break
4:00pm – 5:30pm Information Architecture
Participants will learn what is information architecture and site map. They will then quickly build a site map for the prototype that they have created.
