What is it

The SkillsFuture Earn and Learn Programme is a work-learn programme that gives fresh graduates from polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) a head-start in careers related to their discipline of study. It provides them with more opportunities, after graduation, to build on the skills and knowledge they acquired in school, and better supports their transition into the workforce.

Who is it for

  • Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents who are within three years of either graduation from the ITE and polytechnics or the Operationally Ready Date for National Servicemen
  • Employers of ICT professionals

Hire New Employees

Groom and retain fresh polytechnic and ITE graduates within 3 years upon graduation


Matches suitable polytechnic and ITE graduates with jobs related to their discipline of study, in which they will undergo a 12 to 18-month structured on-the-job training and mentorship programme.

Upon completion of the programme, trainees will receive industry recognised certification and potential wage progression or career advancement within the company based on their performance.


Grant of up to $15,000 per individual placed in the programme to defray costs of developing and providing structured on-the-job-training.
