Overview

This 3 day course is designed for experienced video editors who are moving to Adobe Premiere Pro from other platforms such as Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer. It is also meant for experienced editors who may already be using Premiere but may not have fully explored its workflow and many time saving features. We cover the following:

  • Creating and setting up a project in Premiere Pro
  • Importing Media
  • Translating Basic Editing Skills
  • Trimming and Moving
  • Advanced Editing
  • Editing Sound
  • Adding Video Transitions
  • Adding Video Effects
  • Motion Effects
  • Using the Title Tool
  • Finishing Your Project
  • Exporting

The course is very hands on with opportunities for participants to ask questions and find out about the best workflow for their working style. They work through a series of exercises to provide practical use of the skills learned.Instructors for this course are Adobe Certified Instructors. AV8 Media is an Adobe Authorised Training Centre and course participants receive an Adobe Certificate of Completion.

After completing this course, participants will have a thorough understanding of how Adobe Premiere Pro can be used in their editing workflow

Eligibility Criteria

Participants must already be experienced video editors with a thorough knowledge of the video editing process.
