Overview Course

This 4 day course would allow business risk personnel tasked to manage their organisation or business unit's crisis management plan to understand how their plan can assist the organisation during a crisis as well as how they can complement the organisation's crisis management/corporate communications team (if there).

This course comprises on site training done by industry practitioners and includes practical tips on how to conduct a simulation exercise.

Learning Outcome

At the end of this course, participants will understand:
  • Understand basic crisis management concepts
  • Have a general understanding of the crisis management standard, BS 11200
  • Develop risk management strategies based on ISO31000:2018 Risk Management
  • Understand their roles pre, during and post crisis
  • Understand how to test and ensure that the plan can be tested
