The Cybint Remote Bootcamp is an accelerated cybersecurity training program designed to successfully prepare people with little or no background in IT for entry level jobs in cybersecurity, a highly in-demand and lucrative career path.

Learning Outcome

Trainees are expected to complete selected courses from the following:
  • Incident Response concepts, methodologies and tools (e.g. using a SIEM)
  • Forensics: types, practices, processes, use of various tools to retrieve and preserve evidences
  • Network communication, issue and incident analysis
  • Network System Administration, Operating Systems and Virtualisation
  • Network Security concepts, methodologies and tools (use of FW, IDS/IPS, etc.)
  • Ethical Hacking: principles, methodologies, OWASP, use of basic tools and techniques (XSS, SQLi, Metasploit, social engineering, etc)
  • Threat Analysis: classes, vectors, actors, environments, malware analysis, Insider threat
  • Threat Intelligence, intelligence disciplines, in-depth webint, interests
  • Identity management
  • Telecommunication concepts and technologies
  • Basics in Cryptology, PKI, VPN, hash, etc.
  • Basic programming (low-level, Python, JS, HTML and basic algorithms)
  • Privacy and online rights, regulations, principles, assessments, PII, PCI, PHI
  • Basic network architecture, infrastructures, SCADA system
  • Cybersecurity education and awareness training programme

Who should Attend?

Individuals with a moderately high level of IT literacy; who would like to transition to a career as a cybersecurity analyst, mainly:

  • Non-ICT fresh graduate and professionals whom are interested to take up ICT job roles. (e.g. graduates from STEM and other disciplines)
  • Current ICT professionals interested in up-skilling in preparation for new tech positions (e.g. Mid-career professionals interested in switching to other tech careers)
  • Individuals with a passion to join or build a tech start-up

Eligibility Criteria

No prior experience in IT, no age limit, have english proficiency and very basic math and logical thinking ability.

This course is supported under Tech Immersion and Placement Programme (TIPP)
Singapore Citizens qualified for this immersive training courses and placement programme, will be eligible for a subsidised course / programme fee.
