Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst course prepares learners to understand report building techniques using relational data models. They will learn how to enhance, customise and manage professional reports, and understand Active Reports and their functionality.

Learning Outcome

After completing this course, you should be able to:
  • The importance of analytics and how its transforming the world today
  • Understand how analytics provides a solution to industries using real case studies
  • Explain what is analytics, the various types of analytics, and how to apply it
  • Understand how a business analysis software works, and its architect
  • Describe a reporting application, its interface, and the different report types
  • Create different types of advanced reports
  • Understand Active Reports and how to create them

  • New entrants to the industry who want to pick up a working knowledge on how to predict and prevent issues using analytics

Eligibility Criteria

Course attendees are expected to have:
  1. Academic Level of at least GCE O Level or equivalent
  2. English language proficiency of at least IELTS 5.0 or equivalent
  3. Basic database background
  4. Knowledge of an organisation’s business intelligence process and reporting needs Basic knowledge of XML
