DataRobot brings machine learning to enterprises

last updated 25 May 2018

The use of data in decision making now represents one of the biggest changes in organisations worldwide. The question many ask, however, is how to get that data analysed and what models to choose to get the best predictions of what would happen next.

SG:D accredited company DataRobot takes out the complexity for many enterprises looking to tap on automated machine learning to unlock insights that could make all the difference in their business. Essentially, it takes the best algorithms around and enables enterprises to input their data into the system to find the results they seek.

In the past, many ended up with costly efforts to build their own prediction models. Sometimes, they did not have the expertise to effectively transform into a data-led enterprise. DataRobot’s platform enables users to build and deploy highly accurate machine learning models in a fraction of the time needed previously.

With the technology, users would submit the data to the DataRobot platform for it to “ingest”. They then select the target variable before building hundreds of models with a simple click. From here, they can compare and explore the top models and find the insights needed.

The best model can be selected from the list to be deployed. The most accurate one will enable users to have predictions that could impact their business decisions.

DataRobot promises to deliver accurate results despite the automation and speed involved, because its algorithms are unique and fine-tuned for specific datasets and prediction targets. It is also easy to use, with an intuitive Web-based interface that enables anyone to benefit, regardless of his experience with machine learning.

The product is also built to be robust and enterprise-grade. With 99.99 per cent availability, it handles both large and wide datasets from users. It also promises to safeguard critical aspects such as privacy and business continuity.
