Daniel Yam is a filmmaker who has established a portfolio of short films and television commercials that explore the human spirit. One of his short films, Gift (2010), won the hearts of over 25 million viewers worldwide on various online platforms. Gift has since been screened around the world at numerous international film festivals, winning awards such as Best Story, Best Newcomer, Best International Film, Best Director and Best Editing at the World Film Awards. Daniel was one of the 4 directors in the feature film 4Love (2016) and co-directed his second feature film Wonder Boy (2017) with Dick Lee.

He is the director of the company Stories Worth Telling.
