Singapore Pavilion Returns to MIPCOM 2002

The Singapore Broadcasting Authority (SBA) together with its partner companies are participating in MIPCOM 2002 to promote and market TV programmes and content produced by Singapore companies, and targeted at the international market. This is the second time that the Singapore Pavilion is established at this prestigious international TV market, held annually in Cannes, France.

 

MIPCOM focuses on content and programming for the global TV audience, and is attended by over 10,000 TV industry professionals from around the world. The event is organised annually by Reed Midem Organisation since 1985. This year, MIPCOM will be held from 7 to 11 October.

 

The Singapore Pavilion is located at Stand 05.11 at the Palais des Festivals. The companies in the Pavilion will be showcasing a diverse range of largely uniquely Asian content, ranging from exciting animation works and documentaries, to quality and compelling dramas, that appeal to the international TV market. SBA's Deputy CEO and Director (Industry Development) Mr Koh Tin Fook said, "Each December, we meet our overseas business friends at the Asia TV Forum held in Singapore. Likewise, each October, Singapore companies participate in MIPCOM to do business with our industry partners from around the world".
