The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) is seeking industry comments on the proposed Consolidation Involving StarHub Pte Ltd ("StarHub") and Singapore Cable Vision Ltd ("SCV"). The comments received will assist IDA in assessing the competitive impact of the proposed Consolidation. IDA invites the public to submit any information that they believe will assist IDA in determining whether the proposed Consolidation would unreasonably restrict competition in any market that StarHub and SCV compete.
This consultation exercise is part of IDA's on-going effort in engaging the public in its decision-making process and to increase regulatory transparency.
All comments must be in writing. Commenting parties must submit one hard copy and one soft copy of their comments no later than 5pm on 31 May 2002. Comments and views should be addressed to:
