MDA and IDA have released the revised Technical Specification for Integrated Receiver Decoder (IRD) for use with the 2nd Generation Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting System (DVB-T2) to provide greater clarity to technical requirements.

Completed Consultation and Decision

MDA and IDA have completed their review of the responses received for the public consultation on DVB-T2 receiver specification and have issued the Technical Specification for the Integrated Receiver Decoder for use with the second generation Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting system (DVB-T2).

Extension of Public Consultation

MDA and IDA have received requests to extend the deadline for the submission of comments to the DVB-T2 receiver technical specification. Having considered the requests, MDA and IDA agree to extend the submission deadline till 28 August 2012, 12pm, Singapore time.
