HR Philosophy

last updated 14 November 2016

Staff are our most valuable asset and our strength lies in our people.

We believe in providing a meaningful career by growing our people professionally and personally, and provide learning and career development opportunities to achieve this. A wide range of employee well-being and pro-family policies and programmes are in place to create a conducive work environment.

IMDA encourages continuous learning opportunities to develop you to your fullest potential. Opportunities abound at different phases of your career to cultivate general as well as functional competencies to deepen our technical expertise and build strong creative capabilities.

IMDA develops and grooms leaders for the future to address national challenges and possibilities. There will be opportunities for job rotations within IMDA and beyond IMDA for your career development. Postgraduate scholarships to study at overseas and local universities, and sponsorships for part-time or full-time programmes leading to a formal qualification are also available.

Staff enjoy a variety of benefits, including annual leave, medical and hospitalisation leave, marriage leave, maternity/paternity leave, child-sick leave, compassionate leave and examination leave.

Flexi-work arrangements such as telecommuting, staggered working hours and part-time employment are available. You can also expect recreational activities and opportunities to give back to society through corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Remuneration is responsive to market movements and is performance-based.
