Digital Literacy and Participation

As Singapore becomes increasingly connected through technology, it is important for citizens to be able to use and engage it actively, meaningful, and safely.

Digital Literacy and Participation aims to equip people with the ability to use technology optimally, creating and sharing digital content safely and responsibly, to achieve a better quality of life.

 Programmes reach out to individuals and communities across all ages, providing them with the experiential opportunity to try their hands on a myriad of frontier technology, understanding how they can impact the way we work, live, learn, and play.


 

  • Code for Fun

    Code for Fun Enrichment Programme is offered to all MOE primary and secondary schools to increase students’ exposure to coding and computational thinking. Read more

    Digital Maker programme aims to cultivate a community of innovators, imbued with the culture of collaboration and co-creation, to solve real-world problems.Read more
  • ICM Learning Roadmap

    A structured training framework for Infocomm Media Club members to acquire specialised skills in Tech and Media domains. Read more
  • Lab on Wheels Programme

    The Lab on Wheels programme aims to familiarise and introduce new and emerging tech to prepare citizens to be future ready digital citizens. Read more
  • Media Literacy Council

    Formed on 1 August 2012, the Media Literacy Council works in partnership with Industry, Community, and Government to promote an astute and responsible digital citizenship. Read more
  • National Infocomm Competition Programme

    The National Infocomm Competition (NIC) is a series of infocomm-themed competitions to expose students to areas such as programming, mobile application development, artificial intelligence, games design and creation. Read more
