The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) has reviewed the four applications submitted from parties interested to participate in Singapore's 3G Spectrum Rights auction. All four applicants have been qualified to participate in 3G Spectrum Rights auction.
The qualified bidders are:
- Sunday Holdings (Singapore) Corporation;
- MobileOne (Asia) Pte Ltd;
- Singapore Telecom Mobile Pte Ltd; and
- StarHub Mobile Pte Ltd.
The qualified bidders for the 3G Spectrum Rights auction are required to submit their Initial Offers and Bank Guarantees to IDA by 9 April 2001. The Initial Offers confirm the bidders' commitment to participate in the auction, including the specification of which 3G Spectrum Right each bidder is interested to obtain. IDA intends to announce by 11 April 2001 whether Singapore will proceed with the 3G Spectrum Rights auction.
