The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) has today received a total of three Initial Offers and accompanying Bank Guarantees, submitted from three of the four parties qualified by IDA as eligible bidders to participate in Singapore's 3G Spectrum Rights auction. The Initial Offers confirm the bidders' commitment to participate in the auction, including the specific 3G spectrum slot each bidder is interested to obtain.
The parties who submitted Initial Offers to IDA are:

MobileOne (Asia) Pte Ltd;
-
Singapore Telecom Mobile Pte Ltd; and
-
StarHub Mobile Pte Ltd.
IDA will review the submitted Initial Offers and Bank Guarantees for compliance with the requirements set out in IDA's Auction Rules. IDA intends to announce by 11 April 2001 whether the 3G Spectrum Rights auction will take place.
