Singapore will be represented by a 200 sqm national pavilion at the ITU Telecom Asia show, to be held from 2 to 7 December 2002 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong. Led by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), the Singapore Pavilion will showcase exciting and innovative infocomm technologies and the business opportunities available in Singapore. Six Singapore-based exhibitors will also be featured at the Pavilion (see Annex A for the list of exhibitors).
The Pavilion will be exhibiting under the theme "Singapore - Your Partner in Asia", a theme that emphasizes Singapore's role as a key infocomm hub in Asia. The Pavilion aims to promote collaborations and partnerships between businesses in the Asia Pacific region and highlight the infocomm opportunities in Singapore.
The Pavilion houses companies from the infocomm industry who are offering:
- network management solutions for corporate and enterprises;
- electronic bill presentment and payment systems and solutions;
- SIM cards with applications for secure SMS and Java Universal SIM cards with digital signature for mobile commerce;
- enterprise software solutions for managing user access to enterprise information resources.
