The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) released a consultation paper on 4 February 2002 to gather feedback from the industry and public to review the interconnection charging model for Internet dial-up traffic and the various proposals raised in the consultation paper.
At the close of the consultation at 12 noon today, the IDA received several responses. The consultation paper and responses received can be found under the "Policy & Regulation" section. The IDA thanks these respondents for their comments.
IDA will consider the inputs received and make its policy decision thereafter. IDA will target to announce its policy decision by the second quarter of 2002.
The issuance of consultation papers is part of IDA's ongoing efforts to provide a platform for the industry and public to share their views on policy and regulatory matters, taking into account market trends and technology developments.
