Notes to Editor:

1 Mobile-Party-Pay (MPP) refers to the retail charging method, where the mobile phone subscriber pays for both incoming calls made to, and outgoing calls made from, the subscriber's mobile phone. The MPP is the current retail charging method for mobile phone services in Singapore.

2 Calling-Party-Pay (CPP) refers to the retail charging method, where the mobile phone subscriber would only pay for calls made and not for calls received.

3 Due to industry's request for an extended feedback timeline, the original closing date for the consultation paper had been extended from 1 March 2002 to 22 March 2002.
