7 November 2012 - At the annual Youth Infocomm Day, the National Infocomm Club Awards was presented to six winning entries from the Primary School Category and six winning entries from the Secondary School/Junior College Category. For the first time this year, participating students competed on two tracks surrounding the theme "Learning with ICT".

The National Infocomm Club Awards given out for the first time, to winning entries from two competition tracks -
"Current Possibilities" & "Future Scenarios"
At the annual Youth Infocomm Day, the National Infocomm Club Awards was presented to six winning entries from the Primary School Category and six winning entries from the Secondary School/Junior College Category. For the first time this year, participating students competed on two tracks surrounding the theme "Learning with ICT". (For details on the winning entries, please refer to Annex A (159.27KB))
The first track on "Current Possibilities" required students to develop tools that can be productised to enhance current teaching and learning practices. The second track on "Future Scenarios" required students to creatively envision scenarios of how infocomm can empower teaching and learning in future. Ms Sim Ann, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Ministry of Communications & Information, and the Ministry of Education will be presenting the trophies and prizes to the winners.
