12 May 2009 - The Singapore Government plans to invest S$1.73 billion worth of new infocomm tenders in Financial Year 2009. This will further increase infocomm adoption in the public sector to better meet the growing expectations of businesses and citizens in an ever-changing infocomm landscape.

30 November 2009 - Consumers can enjoy greater convenience of making payments using their CEPAS stored value cards beyond transport, with the number of contactless Point-of-Sales (POS) terminals more than quadrupling from 5,000 to almost 24,000 across various cash-based segments such as food courts, provision shops and convenience stores across Singapore.
