Media Development Authority (MDA) commissions Tamil programme: Make Internet part of our daily lives

The Media Development Authority (MDA) has commissioned a seven-part Tamil info-educational series Endrum Inayam (Internet Always) that explains how the Internet can be used easily to do daily tasks at home, at work, and for leisure.

Every week, Oli 96.8 producer/presenter Vimala explains how routine and time-consuming tasks such as bill payments, grocery shopping, job applications, and booking of movie tickets can be done easily and quickly using the Internet. Viewers can also learn how to effectively use communication devices like bank teller machines, information kiosks and handphones. The series aims to dispel any fears and increase our confidence in using these devices and the Internet in our daily lives.

Produced by The Right Angle Media Pte Ltd, Endrum Inayam (Internet Always) is commissioned at $119,000. It will be aired on Vasantham Central starting Wednesday, 4 June from 7.30pm.
