Chih Chong is currently the co-founder and Executive Producer at Sitting in Pictures, a dynamic production company and one of the most recognised media names in Singapore.

With over 25 years of experience in the film and television industry behind him, Chih Chong brings along with him both depth and breadth gained over a broad spectrum of works ranging from factual entertainment, magazine, comedy, drama to feature film projects, as well as accolades earned from New York Fests, WorldFest Houston, Impact Awards and the Asian Television Awards. 

Since graduating with a B.Sc in film production from the University of Texas at Austin, Chih Chong has proved his mettle in this extremely volatile and competitive industry in Singapore having done work for companies as diverse as MediaCorp, CTN, RTM, National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel, Fremantle Media, Voom Networks, AETN and many others. Apart from television, Chih Chong had also worked on feature films and was a producer on the highly successful Singapore film, Forever Fever. The film was sold to Miramax Films for US$3 million.

Chih Chong is an active participant in the Singapore media industry, and was previously serving as President of the Association of Independent Producers Singapore (AIPRO). He also served as committee member of the Singapore Film Commission and on the academic advisory committees of both the ITE and Republic Polytechnic. On other fronts, Chih Chong was a juror at the 2010 International Emmy Awards, the Asian Television Awards between 2008 and 2012, and the Apollo Awards.  Other than that, Chih Chong is also a certified mediator under the Singapore Mediation Centre and volunteers with the Singapore Subordinate Court.
