Request for Information: TradeTrust

last updated 25 March 2019

Infocomm Media Authority of Singapore (IMDA) is working with various agencies and industry partners both locally and overseas to develop an interoperability framework, TradeTrust, for the secured exchange of electronic trade documents for cross border trades. The closing date is 30 April 2019 at 3pm.

TradeTrust Request For Information:

Objectives

TradeTrust is a set of Governance & Legal Frameworks, Standards and future-ready Digital Infrastructure, all of which facilitates the interoperability of electronic trade documents exchanged between different digital ecosystems.  It uses Distributed Ledger Technology/ Blockchain to provide proof of authenticity and provenance for these documents, addressing the inefficiencies of cross-border trade services that are caused by manual handling and verification processes.

We have just launched a Request for Information (RFI) to look for the best way to build this solution based on distributed ledger technology. If you have the know-how, come join our Request and help revolutionise shipping and trade! We are on the lookout for leading tech solution developers.

This RFI will also include a briefing that takes place:

28 March 2019 (Thursday)
IMDA Office Level 6 Boardroom
10 Pasir Panjang Road, MapleTree Business City

Interested parties or if you have any questions about TradeTrust, please email tradetrust@imda.gov.sg.
