With more than 50 tech and media workshops catering to all ages from preschools to the seniors, there is definitely something for everyone!

Invent a Mood Lamp with micro:bit
Build a mood lamp to reflect your mood or tell others how you feel! You will learn to program a micro:bit to adjust the speed of light transitions into different colors; or just to display a color of your choice, based on your mood!

^For participants who have received any micro:bit from past Digital Maker programmes, please bring your own micro:bit.

  • Participants below 18 years old must be registered by a parent/guardian.
  • To allow as many people to enjoy the workshops, do note that each participant can only sign up for a maximum of 2 workshops.
  • Workshops are allocated on a first come first serve basis – a confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration.
  • Do note that participants are required to be at the workshop to register 15 minutes before the session.
  • All slots will be released 5 minutes before the start of session for participants on the waiting list.
  • For Parent-Child workshops, please note that children registered MUST be between the ages of 7 to 12 and accompanied by a parent/guardian.
  • For Inter-Generation workshops, please note that the child registered MUST be aged 10 and above and at least one (1) participant MUST belong to the Silver Generation (aged 55 and above).
  • For Pre-Schoolers workshops, please note that All children registered MUST be aged 4 to 6, and MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Participants who turn up without an accompanying parent/guardian WILL NOT be admitted.
