The Telecommunications Standards Advisory Committee (TSAC)
Comprising network and service operators, equipment suppliers and manufacturers, academia, and researchers, the TSAC represents professional, trade, and consumer interest in Singapore’s telecommunications standardisation. The TSAC advises IMDA on the setting of Singapore ICT standards as well as on the development and recommendation of specifications, standards, information notes, guidelines, and other forms of documentation for the adoption and advancement of standardisation efforts of the Singapore ICT industry (generally termed "IMDA Standards").
The TSAC initiates Focus Areas (TSAC FAs), driven by the priorities of the Singapore telecommunications industry. These TSAC FAs are guided by a charter and programme to ensure outcomes have an impact on an emerging ICT area. The TSAC oversees the review of the standardisation programmes adopted by the TSAC FAs.
The TSAC is supported by a Secretariat provided by IMDA. The structure of the TSAC, its list of members, and the standardisation programmes adopted by the TSAC FAs for 2021 to 2024 are as follows:
