Subscription Online Newspaper Content

Overview

Internet Content Providers, including those offering online news, are automatically class licensed under the Broadcasting (Class Licence) Notification of the Broadcasting Act 1994, and are subject to the Class Licence Conditions.  

Who is this for?

Content providers in the business of providing online newspaper via the Internet in and/or from Singapore for a subscription fee or other consideration, are required to register with IMDA within the time stipulated by IMDA.

Fees

No fee is required.

How to apply?

Upon written notification from IMDA, please:

  1. Download this form: Registration for Internet Content Provider – Subscription Online Newspaper (315.77KB)
  2. Complete the form; and
  3. Mail the original signed form to IMDA at the following address:
