Numbering

As the telecommunication industry regulator, IMDA manages the numbering resources and allocation process. The Numbering Plan provides a set of rules and guidelines for the use of numbers and codes to telecommunication service operators. This helps ensure the adequacy of telecommunication numbers for use in Singapore.

  • National Numbering Plan and Allocation Process

    The National Numbering Plan provides a set of rules and guidelines for the use and assignment of numbers to telecommunication services delivered over the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), the Radio Network and the Internet or other Internet Protocol (IP) based networks.Read more

    Number Online Registration System (NORS) commenced in 2001 to provide online number registration for number with prefix "1800". NORS is enhanced to manage additional numbers/codes request for "0", "1", "3", "6", "8", "9", "800", "1800", "1900", "ISPC" and "NSPC".Read more
