IDA is pleased to report that at 5am today, there were no reports of disruptions to the public telecommunication infrastructure and services.

Mr Leong Keng Thai, Deputy CEO and Director-General (Telecoms) Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, said, "The IDA and public telecommunication operators have been on full standby throughout the night to ensure the telecommunication sector's smooth transition into the new millennium. We are pleased to inform that the crossover has been successful."
