Dr Kaizad Heerjee, Assistant Chief Executive, Online Development of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore spoke at the Asia/Pacific IT forum 2001 on "E-Policy: A Holistic Approach" at the Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre on 21 Feburary 2001 at 11.15 am.
The presentation provides an overview of Singapore's strategy to create a conducive policy and regulatory environment and the need to instill trust and confidence in electronic-commerce. Dr Kaizad also presented key findings and follow-up actions to an industry consultation paper which IDA launched in September last year called "A Framework to Building Trust and Confidence in E-Commerce".
