The Media Development Authority (MDA) is making available the detailed schedule of the first Presidential Candidate Broadcast that will be aired tomorrow, Thursday, 18 August 2011.
Four candidates will make their broadcasts over free-to-air radio and television platforms. These platforms are made available in all four languages to the candidates.

The order of the first broadcasts on radio and television will be determined based on the alphabetical ordering of the names as reflected in the Electoral Roll. They are:
1. Dr Tan Cheng Bock
2. Mr Tan Jee Say
3. Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam
4. Mr Tan Kin Lian
This order will be reversed for the second presidential candidate broadcast.
To facilitate reporting, MDA will release the scripts of the first Presidential Candidate Broadcast to the media by 7pm on 18 Aug 2011, upon completion of the recording of the speeches.
Please note that all scripts are embargoed till after delivery and are to be checked against delivery.
