2. This year's Singapore delegation will unveil multiple international collaborations spanning various genres including drama, digital media and gaming. The lineup will also highlight an increased selection of children's content that has already found success in international markets and will be presented at MIPCOM. Examples include:
Drama series
- New drama series ‘RED BUTTERFLY’ will mark a significant international co-production between StudioCanal, Europe's leading film and television production and distribution studio, and local production companies Beach House Pictures and Momo Film Co. With the support of Canal+ Asia, StudioCanal and Beach House Pictures/Momo Film Co. are co-developing and co-producing the series for the Canal+ Group platforms and the international market, with StudioCanal handling worldwide distribution. The project has secured a Taiwan film and TV entertainment studio as a new co-production partner, which will provide creative and distribution perspective from key markets in China and Taiwan. The series is in discussion with IMDA and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) for the Singapore On Screen Fund (SOF), with production commencing in 2026. ‘RED BUTTERFLY’ is a crime drama series about an all-female gang set in the 1950s in Singapore, known then as “The Chicago of the East”.
- Mocha Chai Labs will continue its partnership with Thai broadcaster ONE31 for another scripted thriller series, following their earlier collaboration on the ‘Decalcomania’ series. Supported by IMDA, ‘Decalcomania’ will premiere on 27 October 2025 on ONE31 and the oneD app, followed by Singapore broadcast via Mediacorp in December 2025.
Digital content
- Singapore-based digital creators’ platform, Viddsee, will launch its debut original feature film ‘Siti Vampire’, showcasing a notable creative team from both Singapore and Indonesia. Following script development supported by IMDA, Viddsee secured co-production partner Mahaka Pictures, an Indonesia-based production house. The project features box-office screenwriter Titien Wattimena, Celerina Judisari as the co-producer, and award-winning director Rahabi Mandra.
Children’s content

The studio also secured the official commission of ‘Leo the Wildlife Ranger’ Season 4 and a new season of ‘Paula & Pals: Boot Up!’ focusing on logic and coding education for young children.
- Singapore-based August Media is partnering with South Korean production company Acommz to bring Arctic adventure series ‘Super Guardians’ to young audiences worldwide. There will be two new seasons of ‘Super Guardians’, a kids' intellectual property animation action-play series targeting 5- to 7-year-olds. The series follows a rookie who joins a fearless team of heroes in the icy Arctic, taking on wild adventures, helping fellow citizens in danger, and working as a team to complete impossible tasks. Singaporean distributor Bomanbridge has been appointed the sub-distributor for the series, marking their expansion in the local children's content landscape. ‘Super Guardians’ is produced in English with production partners from China and India.
3. Singapore also launched its inaugural international pitching session at MIPCOM 2025 with Blue Ant Media, an international streamer, production studio and rights-management business.
