The IDA Booth (located at 5L1-01) at the Singapore Pavilion is abuzz with special services to woo the wirelessly equipped CommunicAsia visitor. To prepare yourself for a wireless experience, step up to the IDA Booth and get settings downloaded to your wireless device and you're ready for the show. Powered by innovative technologies from Singapore developers, four interactive services will be available.

The services are:

1. Singapore Pavilion WAP site (provided by The WebWap Company)

Browse the Singapore Pavilion WAP site with your WAP device to get information on the exhibitors and the show, while on the go. Visitors will need to pre-subscribe to a data service. Ericsson and Nokia mobile phone users can have the settings automatically sent to their phones.

2. Collateral Delivery (provided by PalmWindow)

This service allows visitors to the IDA booth to request, via SMS, collateral such as company profiles and product information of those exhibiting at the IDA booth. Visitors no longer need to deal with the hassle of collecting brochures as the information will be sent to them via email.

3. Mobile Coupons (provided by N2N Consulting)

Answer a simple question and receive a mobile coupon. This mobile coupon can be used to redeem a free drink via SMS. Subscribers from all mobile operators can participate in this promotion.

4. PDA download of "Singapore - the place to put a dot in Asia" (provided by WAPWorkz)

Download facts and figures of Singapore's infocomm industry to your PDA. This service currently supports only Palm OS devices. Step up to the Infra Red port (IR port) at the IDA booth and get synced.

Located at Hall 5, the Singapore Pavilion at CommunicAsia 2001 covers an area of 1,700 square metres, which is the largest ever for a Singapore Pavilion at CommunicAsia 2001.

Visitors to the Singapore Pavilion can expect to view the best of Singapore's information communications industry. Over 60 companies from across Singapore's information communications value chain will represent the industry at the Singapore Pavilion during CommunicAsia this year.

Hosted by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, CommunicAsia 2001 is Asia's leading Information Communications industry event. The show brings together some 2,200 exhibitors and some 50,000 visitors are expected to visit the show at Singapore Expo.
