The Media Development Authority (MDA) has commissioned a seven-part Tamil quiz series Puthir 2003 (Quiz 2003) to showcase the general knowledge of our Junior College level students.
Students from 11 educational institutions will be tested in areas such as science, history, geography, current affairs, sports, literature and music. The winners from four quarter-finals and two semi-finals will vie for the champion status in the grand final.
MDA commissioned the quiz series at a cost of $126,000. Hosted by popular actor/presenter Vadivazhagan and produced by Pixel Production Pte Ltd, Puthir 2003 will be aired on Vasantham Central from 12 September at 7.30pm.
