Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is a transformative digital transformation solution that uses machine learning to generate new content from existing data. It allows enterprises to achieve better operational efficiency, derive new revenue streams, and develop new products and business models.

GenAI for Digital Leaders (GenAI x DL)

The GenAI x Digital Leaders Initiative aims to help digitally mature enterprises to uplift mindsets on AI and build AI capabilities with a curated network of technology partners. This gives enterprise leaders direct access to AI expertise, platforms, and resources that would otherwise be difficult to reach on their own.

Partners are equipped to support enterprise AI deployment across every environment:

Cloud AI — Access scalable AI infrastructure and enterprise platforms through hyperscalers (e.g. Microsoft, AWS), enabling rapid deployment without heavy upfront investment in hardware or in-house infrastructure.
Hybrid AI — For enterprises that need flexibility, our partners support architectures that balance cloud scalability with on-premises control — ideal for organisations managing sensitive data alongside broader operational workloads.
Edge AI — Where data sovereignty, low latency, or limited connectivity are non-negotiable, tech giants (e.g. Apple) provide the infrastructure to run AI entirely on-device/on-premises — keeping data secure, eliminating network dependency, and operating at a fraction of the energy cost of conventional GPU setups.

With our partner network spanning across the full spectrum of deployment environments and requirements, IMDA’s GenAI x DL initiative can support enterprises’ journey from exploration to execution.

Eligibility

Business entities that meet the following requirements are eligible to participate:

ACRA-registered, taxable, and operating in Singapore;
Minimum of 30 percent local shareholding;
Non-ICT companies with in-house tech capabilities and are keen to develop and deploy GenAI infrastructure and solutions

Eligible enterprises may receive funding support for the adoption of GenAI solutions or project implementation of their GenAI use cases.

Knowledge Mining

Retrieval‑augmented assistants over enterprise knowledge (documents, emails, SOPs, contracts) to answer questions and guide decisions with permissions awareness.
Customer Engagement

GenAI solutions that drive external‑facing interactions across support, sales, marketing, and commerce.
Conversational Analytics

Natural language to analytical queries, metrics, charts, and narratives over governed datasets and semantic layers.

Operations Automation

AI‑driven extraction, validation, and straight‑through‑processing for high‑volume operational workflows involving structured/unstructured documents.
Content Generation

Tools that create, transform, or adapt publishable assets (text, image, audio, video) with brand, tone, and glossary control.
