Encore Films was established in 2003 with the aim of bringing quality movies to the audience in the South East Asia region. They released Death Note Trilogy and distibuted Studio Ghibli’s animation classics including My Neighbour Totoro, Ponyo on the Cliff by The Sea and The Wind Rises for Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei. Additionally, they distribute movies in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. In 2016, Encore Films embarked on their first local movie production, Young and Fabulous.
