Prof An Bo is a President’s Chair Professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a leading researcher in artificial intelligence, particularly in multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, and AI-driven decision-making. His work focuses on developing intelligent agents capable of learning, coordinating and interacting in complex environments, with applications spanning security, resource allocation and autonomous systems.

He is a Fellow of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) and has received several prestigious recognitions, including the INFORMS Daniel H. Wagner Prize and the Nanyang Research Award. Prof An has played key leadership roles in the global AI research community, serving as General Co-Chair of AAMAS 2023 and will serve as Program Chair of IJCAI 2027.
