The attached statement issued by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) to the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), sets the record straight on inaccuracies in USTR's latest annual review of Telecommunications Trade Agreements, Section 1377 (the 1377 Report)1. The inaccuracies suggests a need for greater due diligence on the part of the USTR in its 1377 Report preparation process. IDA, in putting right the inaccuracies seeks further clarity on the process for countries' right of reply and calls for a more transparent 1377 Report preparation process. It now awaits a reply from the USTR.
