Asra Aman | Producer

Asra Aman is a Film and TV Producer with Papahan Films Pte Ltd.

In 2014, she produced her first feature, Banting, which was widely released in Singapore theatres to positive reviews. The film was supported by the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA) with their New Talent Feature Grant. Always on the lookout to create both thought-provoking yet commercially driven projects, she was keenly involved in the creative process prior to the production of the film.

In 2016, she co-produced one part of an omnibus feature, 4Love, which was produced and distributed by mm2 Entertainment and was screened at the Singapore International Film Festival in 2016.

She is currently producing Ibu, which is in post-production. A horror feature produced with mm2 Entertainment, the film also received the Production Assistance Scheme from IMDA.

In 2017, La Luna, a film that she developed with Creative Director, M. Raihan Halim, was selected for HAF (Hong Kong Asia Film Financing Forum) and won the Wouter Barendrecht award and White Light Post-Production Award.

She hopes to take La Luna into further development and secure funding to bring the project to the screen.
