About the Security Industry Digital Plan
The Security Industry Digital Plan (IDP) supports Singapore’s digitalisation efforts and makes going digital simple for SMEs. Part of the SMEs Go Digital programme, the Security IDP provides a step-by-step guide on the digital solutions SMEs can adopt to go digital at each stage of their growth.
Tailored for local SME security agencies, security service buyers and building owners the IDP is aligned to the Security Industry Transformation Map (ITM) and jointly developed by IMDA, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and industry stakeholders from the security industry. The IDP will be updated over time as the industry evolves with newer and more relevant technologies.

Grant support for digitalisation journey
The Security IDP provides a roadmap for companies to enhance their digital operations, increase efficiency, and promote business growth by implementing digital solutions, including Integrated Security Management, tailored to their specific stage of digital maturity. Eligible SME security agencies can receive funding support from a variety of business grants including the Productivity Solutions Grant and other grants available on the Business Grants Portal.
