The Singapore Digital Scholarship, announced by Minister of Communications and Information on 25 September 2018, consolidates the various industry scholarships that are offered by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), supporting tech or media-related studies at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

SG DIGITAL SCHOLARSHIP (UNDERGRADUATE)

The SG Digital Scholarship (Undergraduate) is an industry scholarship that empowers students interested in pursuing tech or media-related studies at the undergraduate level with a wealth of opportunities. Scholars under the programme have the flexibility to chart their own career with the industry. Scholars can serve their bond in a tech or media-related job role in the organisation of their choice, ranging from Startups to SMEs to MNCs.

The SG Digital Scholarship (Postgraduate) is an industry scholarship that empowers individuals interested in pursuing tech or media-related studies at the Masters or PhD level. Individuals pursuing postgraduate studies in specialised tech or media-related areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Analytics, Immersive Media, and Digital Content Creation can chart their future with this scholarship.

SG DIGITAL SCHOLARSHIP (NEW FOCUS ON FUTURE COMMUNICATIONS)

SG Digital Scholarship has expanded with a new focus area to develop world-class translational research capabilities in future communications. Extended support will be given to post-graduate local students to pursue research and translational projects related to future communications technologies (e.g. 5G technologies and beyond).
