iSPRINT has been in place since March 2010 to support SMEs' use of technology to boost SMEs' productivity and growth. The S$500 million ICT for Productivity and Growth (IPG)
programme announced at the 2014 budget speech
is a significant boost to the Singapore's efforts to encourage this.
With effect from August 2014, IPG is incorporated into iSPRINT, giving you enhanced and broadened coverage, while simplifying your application process. Refer to the table below to find out how the programme can address SMEs' varying technology needs - from simple solutions for the improvement of business operations to innovative solutions that can transform a business or sector.
Eligibility of SMEs
- Are registered or incorporated in Singapore;
- Have at least 30% local shareholding; and
- Have not more than S$100 million group annual sales turnover OR Not more than 200 employees under the group.
With effect from 1 Apr 2015, iSPRINT will no longer support Basic Packaged Solutions. SMEs that meet the criteria can apply for other schemes such as IRAS’ Productivity and Innovation Credit (“PIC”).
