2018 Call-for-Proposal (CFP) for Production Assistance (P-Assist) Scheme, New Talent Feature Grant (NTFG) and Short Film Grant (SFG) – Film Submissions

The Production Assistance (P-Assist) programme focuses on generating a pipeline of Singapore projects and nurturing Singaporean talent in credited roles; while the New Talent Feature Grant (NTFG) encourages first and second-time directors to launch their careers in feature filmmaking; and the Short Film Grant (SFG) seeks to fund budding talented filmmakers on their next short film. Applications for film projects under these schemes are by Call-for-Proposal (CFP).

 

There will be two combined CFPs for P-Assist (Film) and NTFG applications, and one CFP for Short Film Grant (SFG) in 2018.

P-Assist (Film) & NTFG

First P-Assist & NTFG CFP
CFP Window: 1 March to 29 March 2018 
Deadline for Submission of Proposal: 29 March 2018. Proposals must be submitted by no later than 5:00 PM (SGT). Please note that late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered. 
Notification of Shortlisted Projects for Pitching: Week of 30 April 2018
Pitching Session: Week of 21 May 2018*
Notification of Selected Projects for P-Assist Grant: Week of 4 Jun 2018* 

Second P-Assist & NTFG CFP
CFP Window: 1 August to 29 August 2018
Deadline for Submission of Proposal: 29 August 2018. Proposals must be submitted by no later than 5:00 PM (SGT). Please note that late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered. 
Notification of Shortlisted Projects for Pitching: Week of 24 Sep 2018
Pitching Session: Week of 22 Oct 2018*
Notification of Selected Projects for P-Assist Grant: Week of 29 Oct 2018* 

 

Short Film Grant (SFG)

Short Film Grant CFP
CFP Window: 14 Dec 2018 to 4 Jan 2019
Deadline for Submission of Proposal: 4 Jan 2019. Proposals must be submitted by no later than 5:00 PM (SGT). Please note that late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered. 
Notification of Recommended Projects for Short Film Grant (SFG): Week of 4 March 2019
Selected projects should be completed by: 30 June 2020

 

How to respond to a CFP

Interested applicants of P-Assist / NTFG / SFG must send their completed proposal (including all required supporting documents) according to the respective guidelines to SFC@imda.gov.sg by the stipulated “Deadline for Submission of Proposal”. Please note that the IMDA/SFC reserves the right to not accept any submission that is late or deemed incomplete.
