DVB-T2 Consumer Labels

Introduced in April 2013, the DVB-T2 consumer labels indicate that the DTV equipment complies with the Singapore’s receiver specifications and can receive the FTA DTV channels. To aid consumers with their purchase of DTV equipment, DVB-T2 compatible digital TVs and set-top boxes sold at the retail outlets are affixed with these consumer labels.

Types of Consumer Labels

This label indicates that the TV or set-top box supports Singapore’s DVB-T2 channels in stereo sound.

This label indicates that the TV or set-top box supports Singapore’s DVB-T2 channels in surround sound when connected to a home theatre system.
