Android 10: Wireless@SGx profile setup issue (24 Oct 2019)

Android 10 users have encountered an error during the configuration of Wireless@SGx Wi-Fi profile. We are working through Google to address this issue.

In the meantime, if you are using a local SIM card*, you can manually configure your device to connect to Wireless@SGx by following these steps:

1)      Select Wireless@SGx in your Wi-Fi menu
2)      Select “SIM” under “EAP Method”
3)      Press “Connect”

Thereafter, your device will automatically connect to Wireless@SGx networks at all Wireless@SG hotspots. Alternatively, you may also connect to Wireless@SG via a captive portal. The instructions can be found below.

*SIM cards from M1, Singtel, StarHub and their Mobile Virtual Network Operators are currently supported for direct EAP-SIM configuration for Wireless@SGx



Users with Local or Foreign SIM Cards

Log in to Wireless@SG with just your mobile number. A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent via SMS to your mobile number.

Any Internet Web Browser 

Step 1:
Select “Wireless@SG” from your device’s Wi-Fi menu You need to be in range of a Wireless@SG hotspot.

Step 2:
Launch the sign-in page, key in your mobile number and the CAPTCHA code on the screen.

Step 3:
An SMS with the OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Enter the OTP and click “Sign in”.

Step 4:
You are now connected to Wireless@SG.
